The Royal Hampshire Regiment Museum 

The Museum of the County Regiment for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight – Serving the Crown for nearly 300 years.

 

Admission

Entrance to the Museum is FREE.

All donations are gratefully received as we no longer receive any funding from the Ministry of Defence.

 

 

Opening Hours:

Tuesday to Friday: 10am to 4.30pm

Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays: 10.30am to 3pm

The museum will be closing at 12 noon on Friday 12th December for our volunteer’s party. 

The Museum will be closed for Christmas and cleaning from 3pm on the 19th December and will reopen at 10am on the 3rd February 2026.

Please make an appointment if you wish to find out about your family history, and if you wish to donate items to the collection, you must contact us first as we have a limited Collections Policy. Find out more here
